Of course it is unethical to penetrate others’ accounts, and normally, I assume, it would get banned when testing too many times within a short time period, so some people suggest we start from places like Hack The Box. Finally I settled on THC-Hydra, a brute-force login tool supporting a lot of protocols. Having the above experience, I started to be curious about penetration test. And it’s easy to be fixed, just alter your default account name and if you want, for further safety, you could set two-step verification or the like. ![]() After a day or two trying to understand the prob lem, it became clear that it was because I didn’t change the default account name.
